As an Information Architect & Usability Engineer my focus was to B2B and B2C solutions for a variety of financial products and services.

Objective: Create communication tools to be used to engage various internal departments, to educate/illustrate ‘how design can contribute to a project’. Early in the 2000’s, the concept of Design Thinking was not widely know. General perception within the corporate environment towards designers was the creation of “pretty graphics, and images”. As the lead IA / Information Architect, I was able to influence early project requirements towards End User needs, and allocated Time/Budget & and Resources towards usability testing and validation of workflows & predicted use cases. One proud accomplishment was to incorporate video recordings of early user study using interactive wireframe prototypes, which enabled the creation of highlight reels, revealing participants’ initial and emotional responses towards proposed concepts. This showcased the role of design and usability as an invaulable asset.
